Election Commission Of Pakistan Independent?

Sindh Election Commissioner Sono Khan Baloch called a by-election on the seat of former chief minister of Sindh Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim. After that Sindh High Court (SHC) stopped the Election Commission of Pakistan from holding by-elections on the provincial assembly seat vacated after cancelling Arbab Ghulam Rahim’s membership.

After the 20th Amendment in constitution of Pakistan all the political forces which were behind this amendment said that now Election Commission of Pakistan has become independent.

But the decision of Sindh High Court figures something else and Election Commission of Pakistan does not look independent.
