It is one of the fundamental principles of Islamic way of life of every Islamic country by which equality is maintained among all the members of the Islamic society. No distinction is made among all these members on account Caste, Creed, Race, Colour, Language, Province or financial and social status etc.
In Islam greatness and honour are reserved for the pious and the righteous as revealed by Allah in Holy Quran. No doubt the most honurable among you in the presence of Allah is one who is righteous.
All the rights and duties of citizens of Islamic state are prescribed on the basis of Equality. The Equality is of different types out of which following are important.
