General Elections In Pakistan To Be Held On 4th April 2013?

There are reports that next General Elections in Pakistan will held on 4th April (Thursday), 2013. Former Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan has said recently that next General Elections in Pakistan will be held on 4th April. The last General Elections were held in Pakistan on 18th February, 2008 in which Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N won the majority of seats.

Manzoor Wasan also said that current assemblies would be dissolved on 18th February, 2013. However many political experts and analysts have said that it is expected that General Elections will be held between December 2012 to February 2013.

It is to be remembered that on 4th April, 1979was Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was executed.
