Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Takes Action After Complain

Hyderabad MapHyderabad: The Hyder­abad Municipal Corporation (HMC) has taken action against complaint of anti-encroachment constructions which was filed at the Makki Shah police station. According to the details, HMC has removed more than 100 roadside stalls, immoveable constructions, thoroughfares and paths on Wednesday in several areas of the city.

However HMC clarified that the anti-encroachment mission is set to complete before the Islamic month of Muharram. In this regard cell director of HMC anti-encroachment Syed Asim Abbas Zaidi told that several members of his staff including four subordinate, three officers and one loader got injured during the clash between destruction staff and encroachers in the Naya Pul area. Moreover, he also identified the names of the victims which are Qamar, Irfan Siddiqui, Baqer Zaidi, Naeem Ahmed and Mohammad Iqbal.

It is pertinent to mention that most of the local shopkeepers and retailers have reacted angrily against HMC’s drive and threw stones and vehicles on the staff of HMC.

Syed Asim Abbas Zaidi also told while taking to the media along with the in charge of the cell that several encroachments have been removed or demolished which were set up in the streets of Naya Pul, Tower Market, Hirabad, Tilak Incline, Liberty Chowk and Gari Khata.
