Imran Khan – Nawab of Bahawalpur Agree on One Point Agenda

Islamabad: Pakistani Tehreek Insaf (PTI) and Bahawalpur Awami National Party (BANP) agreed on set adjustment in upcoming General Elections, AwamiPolitics reported. PTi’s Imran Khan and BANP’s Salahuddin Abbasi told this in joint press conference. Most powerful person of south Punjab, Abbasi showed full confidence on Imran Khan. This new political update shocked many parties, especially PPP and PML-N who have strong candidates in Bahawalpur region.  At this moment, Imran Khan said that only ideological people are part of PTI.

One Point Agenda for Helping PTI

Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi openly said that he has one point agenda and that is restoration of Bahawalpur Province. Abbasi also said that there are many similarities between him and Imran. BANP is looking for new province if PTI will get power in next elections. BANP is trying for separate Province from decades but couldn’t remain successful due to political issues. After This new political collaboration, a new hope has been raised among people of southern Punjab especially Bahawalpur district.

It’s worth mentioning here that PTI has booked couple National and provincial assembly seats by making this alliance as Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi had won National Assembly seat for 5 times from Ahmadpur East. There are 5 NA seats from Bahawalpur and 4 from Bahawalnagar and Nawab Sahab has influenced on couple seats among these nine seats.
