Islami Jamiat Talba Syed Uzair Akhtar of KU Speaks

Karachi: Administrative in-charge of the Islami Jamiat Talba Syed Uzair Akhtar of Karachi University said that Karachi University is used to support women sports due to which they organize several sport events on regular basis. According to the details, a clash was occurred on a women cricket match at KU between two student groups few days ago as Islami Jamiat Talba group was accused of beating girl students.

However, Syed Uzair Akhtar has denied his group involving in the clash while claiming that no girl was beaten in the clash as only three boys of his group got injured who were treated at the clinic of University. He also claimed that clash was not occurred during cricket match but occurred when boys of his group were beating up. In this regard, senior KU teacher Dr. Riaz Ahmed asked University for the investigation in this incident and punish those students who found involve in beating students.

Meanwhile Dr Moazzam Ali Khan, a registrar of KU said that no complaint has received regarding beating of female students as well as there are no records that any female student treat at the University Clinic after the clash. However some teachers believe that media is trying to exaggerate this incident as no girl had been beaten in the incident of 28^th October, 2015.
