Issue Of Natural Gas In Pakistan

Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) is the largest company in Pakistan, which earned revenue in 2010 Rupees 170 billion ($ 2 billion). The company has over 46 years of experience in operating and maintaining high pressure gas and distribution system. Furthermore (SNGPL) has been expended there activities like planning, designing and construction of pipelines for itself and other organizations.

Now a day’s Pakistan is contracting with Iran regarding Gas (pipeline). The point is that already Pakistan has an organisation of large producer of natural gas so why Pakistan needs to contract with Iran.

Dr. Asim Hussain Federal Minister for Petroleum & Natural Resources should utilize SNGPL effectively to tackle the issues of gas.
