Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Pervez Mehmood, and former Town Nazim Liaquatabad was killed at 4K Chowrangi, North Nazimabad on 17th September. He was in car along with his friend when unknown gunmen attacked his car. Dr. Pervez Mehmood was taken to hospital where he died. Police reached the incident and started initial investigation. People gathered at the incident place and nearby shops were closed.
In the last 24 hours 11 people have been killed in Karachi whereas in the last 48 hours 25 people have been shot dead in the port city.
A business man living in Karachi said that law enforcement agencies have failed to maintain law and order situation in the city and there is no hope from this government. He said that there is only hope from next government after the next general elections.
MQM is behind this
This is the problem of the present government. MQM was also in the previous government. But target killings did not happen. I would blame the role of ANP and PPP in all the wrong doings.
