According to the details, a meeting was held under the presidency of Secretary of Education Sindh Fazlullah Pechoho in Sindh Secretariat on Wednesday where directors of schools including higher officials of Education Department were presented. However according to a new forming system of monsoon rains, it was decided to extend the summer holidays.
Secretary of Education Sindh Fazlullah Pechoho said that a decision of extend of school summer holidays has been taken due to possible heavy rains and summary has also sent to Chief Secretary of Sindh in which it has requested to extend summer holidays for more 10 days. According to Secretary of Education Sindh, a notification has also been issued regarding extend in summer holidays after the approval of Chief Secretary of Sindh.
Meanwhile, All Private School Management Association of Sindh’s chairman Syed Sohail Shah has also requested to Provincial Secretary of Education to allow opening of schools which are situated in flood-safe districts in Karachi and including Sindh.
