Karachi Municipality Corporation (KMC) is carrying out operation against illegal construction. They have decided to crackdown against illegal construction in private colonies. In the first phase they formed squad to survey in the private colonies and issued warning letters to builders and individual who was established illegal houses and cattle farms without the authority from the KMC. It has demolished 120 illegal houses and 10 cattle farms with the help of heavy machines.
This operation was started at 10 am which continued till late night. The residents of Malir colony had established three illegal colonies Hamers town, Ali town and Gulshan jams. Director of anti-encroachment Mazhar Khan told to media that this operation is being carried out in three places Saddar, Malir colony and Gujjar Nala. Karachi Administrator Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui instructed to KMC should take proper step against them.
