Lack of Transport Facilities In Pakistan

For transporting agricultural produce from village to city markets and for bringing developed improved seeds fertilizers etc from cities to villages we use bullock and camel carts. In fact our farmers should be incited to construct approach roads from villages to main roads/highways on self help so that Suzuki’s and trucks can be used for marketing activities of farmers.

In this connection our zamindars should play a vital role and provide financial help to construct the approach roads Governments should levy agricultural taxes on their big land lords and take away surplus land from zamindars and bring them under cultivation by allotting them to landless farmers.

Just land reforms on paper cannot serve any purpose to develop our agriculture unless we introduce mechanized farming and use and manufacture scientific implements to help promote industries on one hand and the agricultural on the other.
