Maradona Insults Pakistan – But How?

MaradonaBerlin: Football star Diego Maradona has hit out at the Argentine Football Association (AFA) by blaming them that “The current leaders of the association understand as much about football as Pakistan does.” Maradona said “They don’t have a hint at all. There are definitely many respectable things in Pakistan, but I have not only once seen them play a World Cup final”.

Maradona was the game’s great players; he won the 1986 World Cup glory with Argentina, while also winning trophies in Spain and Italy as well as his homeland. He has until now failed to make an impression as a coach with little experience, he took responsibility of Argentina in 2008, where they were defeated by the Germany with a 4-0 in the quarter-finals 2010 World Cup.

However, the 53-year-old Maradona has still not forgiven the AFA for the biggest loss in the World Cup 2010. In an interview he once again criticized at his former employer by equating them to the Pakistan Football Federation, who are ranked 158th in the world. “The AFA has played dirty tricks on me. I should have also been the Argentina coach at the 2014 World Cup, Maradona told Sport Bild. Argentina will take part in World cup in Brazil this summer.

Pakistani people on the social media are against the football icon Maradona due to his recent statement, they supposed this the way to insult Pakistan by giving these types of statement. Even they demanded an apology from the Maradona for comparing Pakistani in this disrespected way.
