Doctors have recommended her complete bed rest for one week whereas the extra treatment will be continue in a couples of days as she is an active in national politics and is a political central figure in the Pakistan Muslim League. “Thank you all for your prayers & good wishes that I’m receiving in abundance. Injured my knee for which I’d be undergoing surgery. God bless you!” she tweeted on social media.
Maryam Nawaz is the eldest daughter of current Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the niece of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and wife of retired army captain Muhammad Safdar. She is described as the new rising star of the PML-N political party. She always commended youth in her address to play an important role in the economics and politics of Pakistan. She expressed her intentions to participate in politics in order to contribute with her father.
It is relevant to mention that Maryam Nawaz since 1997 has been the chairperson of Sharif Trust, created by her grandfather Muhammad Sharif, Sharif Medical City and Sharif Education Institutes while she was also selected as Chairperson of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program.
