Karachi: MQM London Secretariat’s incharge, Nadeem Nusrat told that Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s President Altaf Hussain will go through “angiography” on Thursday in London hospital as doctors has taken his blood tests. Nadeem Nusrat further told that after the result of test reports, it will be considered that Altaf Hussain is able to be questioned or not.
On 3rd June, Altaf Hussain was under the police in London for questioning and later was shifted to a local hospital where he stayed overnight due to his health issues, stated by the MQM Rabita Committee. The further interrogation will be conducted by the police when he will medically fit to be interviewed after viewing his blood test report, according to the MQM statement.
According to the sources, a hospitalized leader Altaf Hussain told his workers of the party that keep calm at this situation and nothing to be done which shows law breaking rules. Altaf Hussain also spoke to his daughter Afza Altaf about his health. The MQM lawyers are in touch with the police and the hospital in order to keep Altaf Hussain in care.
It is pertinent to remark that Altaf Hussain has been arrested by the British police on Tuesday on suspicion of money-laundering.
