Musical Concerts Should Be Banned From Educational Institutions: JI Women Wing

The resolution passed by Punjab Assembly to restore the sanctity of educational institutes is a very good move and the government should implement it in letter n spirit; president Women and Family Commission of JI women wing and ex-MNA Sameeha Raheel Qazi said to PML Q legislator Seemel Kamran in a telephonic conversation.

Ms Qazi voiced full support for banning the musical concerts in the educational institutions. She said that educational institutions are supposed to impart knowledge and they are not established for musical concerts. She raised her concerns over immoral and unethical activities flourishing in the educational institutions and asks the government to look seriously into this issue.

Dr Raheel Qazi said that the deaths of three female students in a musical concert are deplorable and no action has yet been taken on the sad demise of these students. She reiterated that the resolution moved by Seemal Kamran is the need of the hour and we should join hands to secure the future of our next generations. She urged the youth to participate in meaningful extra-curricular activities to boost their confidence and education level but asked them to refrain from immoral and unethical activities. Dr Raheela Qazi announced that a join press briefing along with PML-Q MPA Seemal Kamran will be held soon.
