According to Iqbal Hasan, it was decided in a meeting which chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that not to challenge that decision would set a bad precedent. He also told that the ruling party’s legal team has asked to take the case to the Supreme Court. Iqbal Hasan also criticized the chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan who consider the decision of election tribunal as his victory. We are saying that from the first day that there are laws in Pakistan where PTI’s complaints can be redress. Today they are celebrating the decision of the tribunal, but the tribunal was also present during the protest, Ahsan Iqbal commented over PTI.
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal further claimed that recent elections in Cantonment Board will prove the popularity of N-League unlike the PTI and their claims which have failed to defeat PML-N.
