PACPad – Pakistan Made iPad

It was good to see that Pakistan Air Force engineers at Pakistan Aeronautical Complex in Kamra with the help of Chinese hardware has developed a PACPAD 1(a device like iPad). The PACPAD runs on Android 2.3, an operating system made by Google and given away for free. The price of PACPAD is $200 which is almost half of price of Apple or Samsung devices.

Few months ago India unveiled world`s cheapest computer which costs $46 for tablet device and Bangladesh launched locally made laptop which cost only $130. So after this PACPAD launched by Pakistan it shows that Pakistan has also done something in this field which is a very positive and encouraging sign.
