Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in five match ODI series from 11th November (Friday). Pakistan who won the Test series by 1-0 is placed at sixth (with 98 points) in ICC Test Rankings.
If Pakistan would have won last Test match than Pakistan would have swapped placed with Sri Lanka which is placed at fifth (99 points) in ICC Test Rankings. Now Pakistan has a chance to improve its ICC ODI Ranking. Sri Lanka is second at the table with 119 points where as Pakistan is at sixth position with 101 points.
If Pakistan wins ODI series 5-0 than Pakistan will rose to fourth position, if green shirts won the series by 4-1 than Pakistan will be placed at 5th position. 3-2 win in the series will bring no change for Pakistan in ODI Rankings and Pakistan will remain at sixth position.
