Pakistan Ranks 2nd Among Worst Countries

Pakistan has enormous resources yet millions of Pakistani children are unable to attend school. With all the mega structure projects Pakistan remains among the worst countries in respect of children education.

Educational NGO ‘AlifAilan’ released its report which reveals that Pakistan ranks 2^nd in terms of the lowest percentage of school attending girls. Around 47% of girls never attend a primary school while 40% boys never attend a school.

Out of 154,918 schools only 58,042 are in working conditions, which mean only 37% schools are giving education while others are being used as animal herds.

It is a sad situation when we look back at our history because in Islamic society education was the focus of the state, even world’s first university was established in Morocco by a Muslim woman Fatima al Firri in year 859.
