Pakistan & Saudi Arabia Relations

Saudi Arabia is the center for Islamic world because the Holy cities of Makkah & Madinah are situated here. The relations between Pakistan & Saudi Arabia have always been trustworthy & strong. These relations expanded further became more stable when Shah Sultan Ibn-e-Saud visited Pakistan in 1954.

Afterwards, King Faisal visited Pakistan & he used these words with regard to the relations between the two countries. ‘I am concerned with Pakistan as I belong to Saudi Arabia’.

Pakistan provides technicians and labour to Saudi Arabia and Saudi provides oil to Pakistan. Both, in this manner, cooperate in economic and technological development of one another. A commission has been established for initiating and completion of the development projects in the two countries which coordinates these projects.
