Pharmaceutical industries of any countries is the most important sectors. It’s not only play part in growing economy; also make reason to decrease the ratio of unemployment and make healthy population. Those countries which generate huge number of productions there inhabitant will get medicines very cheap while on another side these medicines is exported to other countries which bring large amount of foreign exchange.
In 1947 when a new state came at the world map with the name of Pakistan, they have no any worth mentioning industries. However time to time new industries came and this sector was growing. Now more than 400 units are working.
36 multinational companies was working in Pakistan, while now only 24 companies are working. Multinational companies marketing research department said that pharmaceutical industries is facing very stiff regularity control ordnance in which including specially pricing control in Pakistan.
Registration of new medicine’s problem is evident from the fact that, this time (DRAP) Drug Regularity Authority of Pakistan has received thousand numbers of applications but decision is still pending now. Pharmaceutical companies are facing price and strike policies still they provide medicine according to International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufactures and Association (IFPMA) because in past they faced slaughter tragic event due to low standard medicine.
At last Pakistani government should take action for saving this industries sector and provide subsidies, low duty taxies, makes sure to infrastructure, availability to water and energy. They must find out the black sheep in DRAP who makes barrier in growing these industries.
