Target killers fired 10 bullets over the vehicle of the MPA due to which MPA and his son lost their lives at the spot. On the other hand, a nephew of the MPA also became victim of the incident as he got severely injured and admitted to a local hospital. However target killers escaped from the scene just after killing PML-N’s MPA as police has started investigation in this regard. A large number of PML-N’s workers also reached to hospital in order to condole the death of the frontman of the party.
[alert style=”white”]On the other hand, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has taken the responsibility of the incident while saying that special task force targeted PML-N’s MPA in Kamonki area of Gujranwala.[/alert] It is to remember that MPA Rana Samshad was elected to the provincial assembly from PP-100 Gujranwala.
Although, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Punjab Rafique Rajwana have condemned the incident and also prayed highest ranks in the Jannah for MPA and his son.
