Lahore: PML-Q Punjab and Provincial Assembly members Amir Sultan Cheema, Mehr Qamar Hayat and Amir Talal filed
motion on Wednesday regarding the misappropriate use of funds that were collected for the Sasti Roti Schemes.
The three MPAs submitted the joint adjourn motion in the light of Audit General Scheme Pakistan reported that highlighted the fraud that was going with the funds.
They termed such practice as guilt and mere joke with the poverty driven people. The rulers of Punjab have dictated their mandate and their respective sectors.
Around 350 million rupees have been inappropriately used as indicated by the Pakistan Audit General. Only 33 % audit has been done while 77% audit remains to be done as the proper details have not yet been provided said the MPAs.
Amir Cheema presented doubt and asked the Punjab government to answer that why flour worth Rs 19 million was given despite knowing about the ghost tandooris?
He further criticised the Punjab government saying that the Punjab government have looted millions and billions of rupees under the banner of Sasti roti scheme.
He asked the audit of the district funds.
