PPP Syed Ali Nawaz Shah Sent To Jail

PPP Syed Ali Nawaz ShahKarachi: Senior member of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Syed Ali Nawaz Shah was sent to jail in case of corruption on the orders of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court. According to the details, MPA Syed Ali Nawaz Shah along with his two relatives have found involve in fraud of worth millions rupees.

However court decided to send MPA Syed Ali Nawaz Shah, his nephew Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah, and cousin former MNA Syed Khadim Ali Shah in jail after finding them in the fraud case of land revenue. On the other hand, court has also imposed fine on accusers while asking to pay Rs0.56 million from Nawaz Shah, Rs0.54 million from Khadim Shah and Rs0.43 million from Imtiaz Shah.

Meanwhile MPA Nawaz Shah has also disqualified from the membership of provincial assembly for 10 years as well as also convicted for five years’ prison. Similarly, Khadim Shah who worked as the federal minister in 1998 has received four years imprisonment while Syed Imtiaz Ali has sentenced for three years in prison.

It is noteworthy that these three accusers are blamed for doing fraud in the record of land revenue department as they had sold land to government in exaggerated prices as well as also claimed the ownership of land later.
