Islamabad: NA 49 Candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chaudhary Ilyas Mehrban in a statement said that the making of the Anti-Islam movie is a direct invasion to the Islamic belief and on the Muslims globally. The PTI leader by becoming part of the protest rallies against the unholy movie kept the esteems of the followers of Islam high scattered throughout the world.
He said that demonstrations, observing protests against such biased, religious targeted movie is obvious since it hurt the Muslims but unfortunately none of the prominent parties came forward with such protests and neither did they participated in such activities.
While crticising over the government ignorant attitude towards the serious issue he said that the Interior Minister in a record statement presented an interested attitude while the government and ANP the political party also did not show any interest in raising their voices. “They are more inclined towards making U.S happy”.
He demanded that like many other controversial movies, the “innocence of Muslims” should also be removed from youtube.
Further appreciating the efforts of the party leader he said that Imran Khan while addressing to the demonstrators at the Abpara Chowk presented the feelings of Muslims to the global nations.
