PTI Zubair Khan Niazi Files Petition In Lahore High Court

PTI's Zubair Khan NiaziLahore: A local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Zubair Khan Niazi has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court against Punjab authorities for illegal arresting of PTI’s workers by ignoring the judicial order. A petition has been filed by PTI against Provincial Law Minister, Inspector General Police, Punjab and Deputy Inspector General through Advocate Sheraz Zaka.

Zubair Khan Niazi claimed in his petition Police have arrested hundreds of PTI workers in an illegal manner as high court had already ordered police to avoid any illegal harassment of the workers. He also added in petition that police did not preserved orders of high court and started a crackdown on PTI workers due to which party workers and their families were also suffered from high injuries. The petitioner also said that police had also started to arrest citizens of Islamabad who wanted to take part in Azadi March. He appealed to the court to take actions against the government authorities and order them for speedy discharge of the arrested workers of PTI.

It is worth mentioning to highlight here that PTI’s Javed Badar has also sent legal notice to Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq for using inappropriate language against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and asked for an apology to Federal Minister for the allegations which he raised against national leaders and leadership of his party.
