Quaid’s Interest in Youth

Quaid-e-Azam was of the view that the youth of the country are destined to play gn important role in the future development of the country, hence he took keen interest in the activities of youth. He fully realized that they ought to be adequately educated and trained so that they could become worthy citizens of the country and may prove an asset to their country in various walks of life.

He showed keen interest in the first Scout jamboree held in the country and agreed to become the ‘Chief Scout of Pakistan’. He was also interested in the promotion of sports and athletics in country and followed with interest Pakistan’s participation in the 1948 Olympics.
