Rimsha Masih – Age Controversy !!!

Rimsha Masih is the name which is in the news because of the blasphemy case on her. Rimsha Masih was jailed three weeks ago after she was accused of tearing pages from Muslims holy book Quran and burning them. Rimsha Masih is Pakistani Christian who is now freed and was taken to undisclosed location by government helicopter from Adiala jail.

In the recent few week it was told that Rimsha is 11 year old intellectually disabled girl, some of the media reported that Rimsha is 14 year old girl. Photo of Rimsha was also published in Pakistani newspaper which was later on revealed on social media that photo was not of her.

Recently photo has been released which shows that Rimsha is taken to helicopter from Adiala jail. In this photo Rimsha is not looking 11 year or 14 year old girl. She is looking like 22-24 year old woman.

The important and simple question which arises is that why media is portraying her incorrect age?
