Security Companies Role In Bank Robbery

Private security companies need to improve their performance. Banks and private companies hire security guards for safety. Robbery case ratio was much high in 2011 as only 19 banks were looted in Karachi in 2011. It is commonly observed that only those banks were targeted, where the number of security guards was only one or two.

Banks should be restricted to hire half of dozen security guards for each branch rather than to connivance the situation because it tarnishes our image in national and international level. Additionally they should install Close Circuit TV Camera (CCTV) in each branch.

Furthermore security guards and police should be given proper training and arms for this purpose.
