Shah Waliullah wrote various books on the subject like ‘Fiqah’, ‘Tassawoof’ and ‘Ilmuk Kalaam’ (art of talking). The greatest work of Shah Waliullah is the translation of Holy Quran in easy Persian characterized by easy understanding.
He was fully aware of the fact that no positive and Islamic thoughts could be created amongst the Muslims of India without eliminating the useless and wrong traditions therefore, the second great work of Shah Waliulah was write ‘Hujatulah Albaligha’ (arguments of Allah for the adults and wise) in which he extended valid and acceptable reason for eliminating the false and wrong traditions.
His famous work ‘Tafhimaat’ (under-standing) cast very deep influence on the education and sylabus of the time. Shah Waliulah prepared syllabi of Madarsa-e-Rahimia which also influenced the current academic syllabus of his time.
