Shortage of Technical Know How In Pakistan

The Western advanced nations do not readily agree to transfer their technologies to Third World countries and adopt selfish attitude. For this purpose the best way is to employ foreign technological experts and to have our engineers and technologists trained under their supervision.

We should exchange our delegations of technologists with China and Japan and if possible of members of planning commission instead of our rulers and politicians farming large sized caravan – like delegations and perform tours of foreign countries for entertainment, shopping and sightseeing.

Thus they waste precious foreign exchange and on return of such extravagant tours star boasting of successful tours and make bogus claims that the foreign investors, industrialists and businessman have shown readiness to invest and help Pakistan in industrial development. Unfortunately none of such white lies become true and no new technology is transferred and no new investors come forward to invest in Pakistan.
