The Simla Conference ended unsuccessful due to the following reason.
a) Both Congress and Government members in the Executive Council of Vice Roy.
b) Muslim League was not accepted as the representative Political party of the Indian Muslims.
Simla Conference came to be failure and in July 14, 1945. Just after the closure of Simla Conference, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, addressing a press conference, said:
“Wavell Plan was a trap. Hindus and the Government were united to push us towards this trap. Acceptance of the proposals of Lord Wavell was nothing but to sign the death warrant of the Muslims. Simla Conference failed due non-acceptance of the All India Muslim League as the only representative political party of the Indian Muslims.”
that was good but not best….something more should be added in it.
Agree With You :/
Its Okay! ..But The Answer Should be More Long..Because Its Too Short For an O Level Standard..More Points Should be Added..

The Simla conference failed due to two important reasons. first, it failed because Simla conference had proposed that the proposed executive council should have equal number of Hindus and Muslims and this idea was rejected by Jinnah since the low castes and Sikhs would have voted Congress and Muslims were likely to turn into minority in Executive council.
second, it failed because Congress and British were insisting that one Muslim representative at the conference should be from Khizir Hayat’s unionist party. Jinnah/Muslim League rejected this idea because it would generate an impression that Muslim League did not represent all India. In , addition, Khizir Hayat had supported Congress in the elections of 1935-36, therefore his induction would mean further support for Congress stance and reduced support for the cause championed by Muslim League.
