Its largest factory is in Rawalpindi which is situated in Wah. The Air Defence equipment is manufactured in Hawalion (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and at Kamra Punjab). Defence machines are also manufactured in Machine Tool Factory Landhi Karachi .
In defence manufacturing units Ghauri, Shaheen, and Hataf atomic headed missiles and other atomic weapons are also being manufactured. The ordnance factories are manufacturing all traditional arms and ammunition as well as sophisticated.
The Pakistan Aeronautical Engineers of PAF are repairing the fighter Planes and bombers successfully. In addition Pakistan has imported F-16 from U.S.A. F-6 from China and Mirage planes from France.
