What Will Be Army Reaction On PM Nawaz Sharif Decision?

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced that former military ruler will be tried under Article 6 of the constitution. The charges are of treason which is punishable by death or life imprisonment. This announcement has stormed the whole country and diverted attention from terrorism and energy crisis towards Pervez Musharraf.

Pervez Musharraf is in under house arrest in his farmhouse in Chak Shahzad, Islamabad. But the million dollar question which is asked in Pakistan and abroad is what will be the reaction of Pakistan Army on this. Some media have quoted that according to sources General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf was offered a safe exit by Army leadership and PML-N leadership but former Presidnet Pervez Musharraf rejected this. Sources of media claimed that Musharraf thinks that he can remain safe in this trail by involving top generals of Army and many other important personalities.

Pervez Musharraf lawyer Ahmad Raza Kasuri is also saying to everyone that around 500 persons including Army Generals, Judges, Politicians, media persons will have to be tried along with Musharraf which will open Pandora box.

This step of PML-N government is a brave according to some people this may also topple PML-N government which won 11th May General Elections. but it will not be easy to remove PML-N government as opposition parties Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have also backed Nawaz Sharif decision.
