According to the details, Asim Rafi, the SHO of Gulberg told that Ms. Roohi has stated in her statement that she was attacked by his son’ friend named as Israr who wanted her to sell her house to him. When she refused to sell her house to him, Israr started to use harsh words and gave her threats after which he suddenly got angry and tried murder attempt at her with sharp edge object.
However Lahore police have filed Roohi Bano’s case under section 506 and 354 of PPC and have started investigation in order to find attacker who fled from the scene at the time of the incident. It is important to mention here that Roohi Bano’s son Ali was killed in 2005 after which she lost her conciseness due to which her acting career got ended.
Roohi Bano’s has played vital role in Pakistan’s television industry as she has worked with several famous actors of Pakistani television such as Talat Hussain and Rahat Kazmi.
