Awami Worker Party Fanoos Gujjar Rejects Current Electoral System

Awami Worker PartyKarachi: The chairman of Awami Worker Party Fanoos Gujjar said while addressing to the party at Karachi that that new electoral system should be made under the guarantee of proportional representation. While rejecting the current electoral system, Fanoos Gujjar demanded the proportional representation, federal constitution as he showed support to all the demands of Imran Khan too regarding electoral system.

Chairman of Awami Worker further said that the nations Sindhi, Balochi, Pashtun, Seraiki who made country’s federation are considered themselves as oppressed due to the oppressive and exploitative policies of the federal government that’s why it is necessary to implement concepts of Imran Khan among them. Mr. Fanoos demanded by bringing up the new system represented in the government according to the proportionately population of farmers, hard workers, women and minority communities.

[alert style=”white”] Women class is great victim of injustice since many time so it is necessary to eliminate discriminatory laws against women and to give them an equal right of decision making, Fanoos Gujjar added.[/alert] He further demanded that 6 month leave with salary and free treatment should be given to pregnant women as well as free of elderly people and children should also be provided to them. It is pertinent to mention that Awami Political party is a left-wing political party of Pakistan which was formed in November 2012 with the combination of the Labour Party Pakistan and the Workers Party Pakistan.
