Karachi: Chairman Pakistan Electronic Manufacturers Association (PEMA) Sarfarazuddin has stated that if Pakistani team maintained their winning performances in order to get trophy of World Cup 2015, sales of LCD and LED would be increase 50 to 60%. According to the details, electronic market is hopeful for their good sales due to coming World Cup and said that good performance of Pakistan national team will be in their benefits.
Sarfarazuddin also said that if Pakistani team will show their bad performances, then electronic market would be highly affected and market will decrease by almost 20% but we hope for good progress of national team as their performance is somehow very important for electronic market. Electronic retailers said that there is no such profit in the LED and LCD TVS even after reducing price and gift schemes by few well-known companies in this regard as many of the companies have also close their TV production.
Similarly, a dealer of Samsung products told that Samsung has already reduced their prices on LED and LCDTVS as 40 inch LED is available at Rs75,000 whereas 48 inch LED is available at Rs94,000 after reducing RS5,000 and RS6,000 on them. However World Cup has bring positive hope for all the electronic retailers whose r of LCD and LED has been down.
