Chaudhry Aamir Sultan Cheema is a member of 16th Punjab Assembly whose tenure spans from the year 2013 till date. Currently his official positions are a Member of Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering. He is affiliated with PML (N) led by Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He has also held many official positions in past. He had been elected as a Member of Provincial Assembly thrice, once from 1988-1990, second time from 1997-1999 and third time from 2008-2013. He has also served as Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development in Provincial Assembly of Punjab from 1990-1993. He has also served in Provincial Assembly of Punjab as Minister of Irrigation from 2002-2007. He belong to constituency PP-32 (Sargodha-V).
Chaudhry Aamir Sultan Cheema was born in Sargodha on 1st May 1962. He is living a happy married life with his family and has raised two children. His father Chaudhry Anwar Ali Cheema is also a politician who has served National Assembly of Pakistan from 1988-2013. His wife Tanzeela Amir is also a politician who has served National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002-2007. He has travelled for official tours to Japan, Thailand and United
