Ex-Chief Justice Nasim Shah Died

Nasim ShahLahore: Ex-chief justice of Pakistan Nasim Hassan Shah had died on Tuesday in London, Britain at the age of 86 as he was suffering from prolonged and multiple illness. According to the details, Dr. Nasim Shah’s funeral prayer was held today on 9am in the morning at 58-D, Sir Syed Road, Gulberg-III. He left a widow and three daughters.

Dr. Nasim Shah remained a chief justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan from April 17, 1993 to April 14, 1994 as well as also worked as the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). In the age of 39, Dr Shah became a judge of High Court and after 26 years of working as a judge, he got retired in the age of 65. He also accused for the death punished of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto as he was part of that bench due to which petition was also filed against him.

Late Nasim Shah completed his Matriculation in FIRST Division from Central Model School, Lahore after which he passed his graduation in 1947 from Government College, Lahore. He also received his L.L.B degree in first division from University of the Punjab in 1949 as well as also passed M.A. in Political Science from Government College in 1951. He was born on 15 April in 1929 at Lahore.
