Fazl-Ur-Rehman Calls A Meeting Against Military Courts Law

Maulana Fazlur RehmanIslamabad: The chief of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has called a meeting of major religious parties on Thursday in order to protest against Military courts law which was passed by parliament in 21st Constitutional Amendment. Maulana Fazlur Rehman is all set to unite together all religious parties in his meeting to protest 21st Constitutional Amendment.

The leaders of religious parties such as Professor Sajid Mir, the leader of Jamiat Ahle Hadith; Dr Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, the president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP); Sirajul Haq, the chief of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI); as well as leaders of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Samiul Haq group (JUI-S) and the Tanzeem-e-Islami are expected to attend the meeting of Maulana Fazlur-Rehman in Islamabad. It is pertinent to highlight here that the 21st Constitutional Amendment into law was signed by President Mamnoon Hussain on Tuesday with the goal of immediate trial of national terrorists through special courts which will led by military officers.

The JUI-F chief vetoed the suggested law of 21st Constitutional Amendment by claiming that religious institutions and organizations will be targeted through military courts law. On the other hand, the interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan also commented in this regard while saying that only those religious institutions who support terrorists will be affected through this new law, otherwise it will not affect to any other religious organizations or institutions.
