A Pakistani Facebook user who lives in Saudi Arabia while commenting on this show video said that I a am in Saudi Arabia since last 3 years but I didn’t see any kind of incident in Saudi Arabia because I didn’t see any girl in Saudi Arabia with out veil. Being a Muslim it is strictly abandoned that a woman can not go out without veil. First of all please see the dressing of the host is she a Muslim Woman and the other girl that these peoples are planting is she wearing veil? Here is the complete video of the show:

If a girl is “planted” for such a purpose then such incidents will definitely occur. There is always good and bad in a society, if a girl is standing at some place which is not a bus stop or something similar then people would probably stop by and do such kind of things.
If I stand at some place where there are lots of incidents of mobile snatching then obviously I would have to face such an incident. I am not saying that what people did in this video is right, I am just implying that if someone is given a chance to do something bad then he/she would go for it.
hi awsmm show very good effort and ya sub karachi main bhi aam hay plz khi main bhi highlight kiya jay
very well done logo ka asal chehra yahi hay jo es program main dikhaya gaya hay
There are actually both sides to this video. I just want to clarify one thing to all the people who commented above and the person from Saudi Arabia mentioned in the introduction of the video that even if the girls do wear hijab or even burqa, these kind of harassment instances still happen. I have been victim of harassment hundreds of times by myself even though I wear burqa and do complete veiling (a full burqa with face veil as someone said: “hijab hijab ki tarah ho”). Not only just while standing on the side of the road but also while walking and crossing the roads. Honestly saying, there are some people who just look for the chance to see a girl alone on the road. Even if they think the girl is right or wrong, but they certainly do not respect them. In a way this video has captured that part, but I also have some strong critique on this documentary/video. They should have tried to set some cameras in some lonely roads, or on bus stops or in front of girls colleges/universities and capture the reality. then people might not have such resistance to the video. Because I know from personal experience that some men men/boys do harass the girls in hijab and burqa too. Another thing which I certainly did not like about the video was the imposing behavior of the reporter on the perpetrators. Even though those men who stopped and tried to give lift to the girl were wrong, the reporter did not have any right to scold or rudely lecture those people. they can ask question about why that particular person has done the act, but they cannot become the preacher. It does not really affect their behavior. I would have been better if we could just simply stop by asking them questions about why they did it, (some might just try to protect themselves by hiding the main intention) but it will make them think about their action later. We want to change the mentality of those people that all girls on the road are to be misbehaved or commented on, but we need to use some better and more constructive ways rather than scolding someone and insulting them on the camera.
One more thing I want to make it clear here. When I used the word “some men” it does not certainly include all men in our society. There are some very good people in our society who obviously respect women and we can feel that. Also in the same way, I also do not disagree with the people who say that in our society, women’s clothing is encouraging men to harass them.
But please try to understand that we need a more equal and humanitarian society in Pakistan. and in our society, everyone should have this space to make a choice for themselves. If a girl chose to wear fancy, stylish and colorful dress in public space and does not cover her head, it does not mean that a man has got the right to misbehave with her. I personally do not support to wear that kind of dressing but it does not mean that we should start demeaning those girls who choose to do that. We, as human being, have a right to chose what we think is best for us.
I am sorry if it feels like a lecture again. but I, among all these male commenters, wanted to express that how I feel about this issue as a woman.
Also, I did not realize that I wrote the whole comment in engish until the last moment I finished writing. But agar koi chahy to men is ko translate b kr sakti hon aap k liye. Because this issue is very sensitive to my heart. Agar kisi ko koi bat bori lagy to men pehly hi apologize krti hon.
God Bless us all and guide us on the right path.
Regards,
Asma
everything i wanted to write is written in this comment… much better conclusion than the video and the small para above… though a good effort but the things this girl mentioned are more realistic and need to be done.though i have a varity in my social circle from v conservatives to very liberal people still I am of the mindset which has openion that certain dress codes should be preferred as they show the level of civilization and are more protective… but that doesn’t mean that galz who wear those dress are protected … i have seen incidents on 14th of aug in isb n pindi where i literally wished to have a pistol and shoot the ppl racing bikes n harrassing galz in various parts of isb.. but the way the anchor started arguing and scolding them on camera isn’t much professional i guess… May Allah remind us our ancestors n the true nation that we belong to and we aren’t aware of now…
Dear Editor,
I was wondering if you could approve my comment soon. If you do not intend to approve it, please let me know at least.
Sorry for late approval
It’s okay. Thank you!

bakwas show tha
as far as wardens are concerned, its their duty to protect people also, in this era of lawlessness a suicide bombers can be there. So duty of police is to keep law and order maintained.
Hi Everyone
Well said Asma,
but I believe that are other issues as well which contributed to this behavior.
Lack of sports facilities is one the major factor for the above, kids do not have grounds or open spaces to do a healthy activities, as a result they end up killing their time in streets, by providing enough sports grounds we not only over come this issue but also train our youth for sports.
Secondly our media played a very negative role in the above, kids of drams or shows does not reflect our normal life. They are trying to follow western values by living in east, as a result our new generation is kind of lost.
Lastly our education system also need to be overhaul. At the moment all we producing are parrots. We do not discuss sex education in our school, or colleges, as a result, kids end up getting this education from some wrong sources.
Hope all the above would be a positive, and thought provoking.
Thanks
Tanoli
Mai Dr Junaid Sahab say ye kehna chahonga k yahoodiyo ki tarha Qur’an ko contaxt k baghair use mat karo… yahoodi aisa kartay hain k Qur’an Shareef ki adhi ayat lay kar osko ghalat contaxt mai pesh karte hain,, aapne agr Qur’an ki ayat pesh karni hai to puri pesh karain… aap Quran Shareef ko apnay maqsad k liye use kar rahay hain us par amal b kia hai kabhi????
agr Qur’an pak mai mardo ko nazrain neechi karne ka hukm hai to orto ko gar say na nikalne ka bi hukm hai,, or agr bahalat-e-majboor (naukri karna ammom’n majboori nahi hoti, shoq say karti hain) gar say nikalna b par jaye to khud ko achi tarha dhanp lain…
Tell me a thing… why this girl is not in Naqaab…??? Upload kar daitey ho pehley yeh to daikho k islam kia hukam daita ha Orat ko … :/ Ager aaj k muashrey ko sahi karna ha to shareeat ko follow karo…. Woh shareeat jo Orat ko Pardey ka hukam daiti ha or Mard ko nazreen jhukaa kar chalney ka hukam daiti ha….
me ne aj tk nhi dekha k ksi esi larki ko cheera jay jis nazeer jhukai hoi ho
jo expose na ho
jis ne shi trhan dupta lya ho
ap log srif aik side he q dekhaty han………………?

Dehshat gurdon.. aur jism farosh auraton, ya date marnay walay lurkay lurkiyon k faces koe toe blur ker diyaa jata hae… aur fahashee aur logon k juzbaat ko exploid kernay waalaa toe media hee hae naa janaab… muger media khud nahee sudhray gaa 😉
i agree with Asma, In our socity there is evil who do not respect to the ladies even they are in full Hijab, I have personally experience with my family.
ohh bhai ye apna program hit krne k liay kuch b krscte hain ye log paise kamanay k liay sub kuch krscte hain iski apni sister ganday ganday kapre pehnti hain
Well, we are too sensitive for women. People do throw words on others..this is not uncommon in Pakistan and in Lahore specifically. Let put the women harassment on side, if you are healthy or bulky bike people will definitely pass by to you saying ‘Ooo mottay’.. or if you are Masha Allah black they will call you Kalaay saab.
Please do program on this attitude as well. We are ‘min haais ul qoam’ Juggat baaz log.
watch your dress!!!!!MADAM
