Holiday On 11th September – Schools, College Closed?

Today is 11th September which is remembered for Death Anniversary of Father of Nation Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The nation is observing the 64th Death Anniversary of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah Many people in Pakistan are asking and also searching on internet that whether today is holiday or not. Some parents are not sure whether to send their children to school or not.

But the thing is that there is no holiday today and schools, colleges, universities and office all will remain open today. No holiday annoucment has been made by Federal or Pronicial Government.

Also on 6th September on Defence Day (Youm-e-Difa ) many people were hoping for holiday but there is no holiday on 6th September. A school teacher living in Karachi said that b It is good to see that holiday on these days are not given as because of different reasons many holidays still exist in Pakistan.

Meanwhile on 13th September it is expected that schools and colleges will remain close in Sindh as nationalist parties have given strike call against Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance (SPLGO), 2012.
