I Am Here To Help Pakistan: Wasim Akram Criticizes Critics

Wasim AkramKarachi: Ex-captain of Pakistani team Wasim Akram said that on Tuesday during an interview that I am here to help Pakistani players during World Cup campaign in Australia and New Zealand. Wasim Akram claimed that no one from the Pakistan cricket authorities and Pakistan team approached him for any kind of help or advice regarding World Cup 2015.

The 48-years old former fast bowler of Pakistan further said that he wants to help Pakistani players in this hard situation as he wants to make Pakistani players win this tournament at any cost but he can’t do this without any invitation. Wasim Akram who is currently serving as a broadcaster at the World Cup further added that people used to criticized me for helping players from other countries but they don’t notice how I get ignore by cricket officials at any special event.

Wasim Akram also added that if I still get any invitation in this regard, I will surely go for the help of Pakistani players because I know very well modern day cricket and players in this World Cup. Despite knowing that I have good experience for playing in Australia and New Zealand, board and management don’t approach me for help, Akram claimed.
