No doubt Maulana Abul Ala Maududi was great leader, religious scholar and Islamic researcher in sub-continent. He managed a great Jamaat which is still running with Maududi’s Literature. Now, when i look towards JI, I see lots of changes in Jamaat as compare to Maududi’s era.
Even Though Jamaat still goes up against pro US policies, on many occasions Jamaat did some biggest political blunders. Many Jamaat activists believe that JI should withdrew from democratic system but majority of JI think that it’s very difficult to change whole plans. JI has election-Boycott strategy in which JI boycotts in every second general election.
