Khairpur: Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam’s central deputy general secretary Maulana Meerak criticized Sindh government by saying that terrorism in Shikarpur is a failure of Sindh government as Shikarpur incident has affected the whole Sindh due to which every Muslim is mourned. According to the details, Maulana Meerak condemned suicide attack on mosque in Shikarpur while addressing to a meeting which was held at Munshi Mohalla, Khairpur.
JUI leader also said that it is the saddest incident of country for which Sindh’s government is responsible and we said to federation in clear words to pay attention over Sindh’s situation and take steps for the safety of people. Sindh’s leaders used to blame religious institutes and ask from where religious institutes get money? We reply shortly to these leaders that religious institutes spread religion of Allah and they get funds from Allah, Maulana Meerak added. He further said leaders should stop false accusations against religious parties and institutes.
The meeting was addressed by Mufti Asghar Ali Arain, Mualana Ghulam Shabbir Morejo, Mualana Ghulam Mustafa and others. It is pertinent to mention that Shikarpur incident took place on 30th January in which more than 60 people lost their lives at the imambargah of Shikarpur after Friday prayers.
