MQM Gul Faraz Khan Filed Petition Against Rangers

SHCMuttahida Qaumi Movement Rabitta Committee member Gul Faraz Khan has filed a petition against rangers with the claim that rangers had caught 110 people from the MQM’s headquarter 90 during the raid at headquarter on 11th March as rangers preserved them in illegal detention and also harassed them.

Gul Faraz Khan also added in his plea that 24 of the these caught members have not release yet as well as rangers had also acquired Rs3.5 million in cash from the place. He also requested to the court to give order to parliamentary force to produce 24 remaining members in the court. However MQM activists such as Muhammad Amir Khan, Yousuf Munir Shaeikh, Habib, Muhammad Hanif, Sabir Hassan, Muhammad Aslam Baloch, Syed Ahmed Raza, Mamtaz Ali, Hussain Ali, Mushahid Bashir and Khalid Rasheed were picked by the rangers during the raid.

The provincial police chief, Rangers director general, home secretary, city police chief, special investigation unit, heads of the crime investigation department and SHO of the police station of Azizabad are defendants in this case. [alert style=”white”]On the other hand, Sindh High Court (SHC) asked to Ministry of Interior, DG Rangers and Inspector General Police (IGP) to submit their reply in this regard till 24th March 2015.
