MQM Has Lust For Power: Qaim Ali Shah & Sharjeel Memon

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will partner with any political party who is in government to become the part of the government, he was referring to MQM decision to support PML-N candidate Mamnoon Hussain in the presidential elections. However Qaim Ali Shah added that there is still a possibility of MQM joining Government of Sindh.

Qaim Ali Shah while talking with media at Sukkur airport said that doors will remain open for an alliance with MQM. He said that MQM was part of PPP government from 2008 to 2013. MQM decided to sit in opposition in the last few days of PPP government before elections and still is in the opposition.

Recently Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon also said that MQM maintained its tradition of supporting the ruling party of the country. Sharjeel while speaking at Iftar dinner said, “The MQM enjoys power politics and cannot live without being in power”. He also said that now he hoped that whenever Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit to Karachi he will not comment on the murder of TV reporter Wali Khan Babar and target killer Ajmal Pahari.
