Karachi: Activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movememt (MQM) Saulat Mirza’s death warrant has been issued on Wednesday by an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi. According to the details, Saulat Mirza is expected to be hanged on 19th Match at 5:30am as an application had been submitted by Superintendent Karachi Central Jail in order to issue Black Death warrant against criminal Saulat Mirza.
However, officials of Machh jail, Balochistan has acknowledged today about the death warrant of MQM Saulat Mirza who is responsible for the death of the managing director of the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) Shahid Hamid and his driver and guard Ashraf Brohi and Khan Akbar.
In April 2014, the convict was moved to the Machh jail, Balochistan but then moved to a Karachi prison with respect to his brother’s petitioned who claimed that Saulat Mirza was sent to Machh jail without any orders of official authorities. However MQM’s chief Altaf Hussain also reacted when Saulat Mirza’s mercy petition was rejected.
