Pakistan former cricketer Asif Iqbal hospitalized

Karachi: Pakistan cricket team’s former captain and famous batsman of his time Asif Iqbal has been hospitalized in serious condition as he is suffering from heart disease. However according to his close relatives and friends told that Aisf Iqbal will go through bypass surgery either on Tuesday or Thursday. Sources said that Asif Iqbal underwent angioplasty three years ago but now doctors have advised him for bypass operation.

According to the details, former cricket suddenly became unwell on the day of his birthday and got admitted to the hospital. He turned 72 this year. On the other hand, sources are also claiming that Asif Iqbal is facing problem in hospital due to shortage of room. Although, a family and close relatives of Aisf Iqbal have appealed to the fans of Aisf Iqbal to pray for veteran Pakistani cricketer.

A former right handed batsman Asif Iqbal has hosted almost 58 test matches and 10 ODI matches as many of these matches were played between Pakistan and India. Asif Iqbal is known as close relative to former India captain Ghulam Ahmed and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. He has been living in England in Canterbury city since many years. He was born on 6^th June,1943.
