Islamabad: Minister of Pakistan Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has announced to reduce fare charges. Though this is a temporary package, it may give positive impact of Saad Rafique. Jaffar Express ticket rates have been decreased by 33% and it will be applicable for 3 months.
Islamabad Express fares have been reduced from 17 to 30 percent. The new tariff will be remained just for 15 days. The fare tariff of rail car also decreased and it will also remain active for 15 days.
Saad Rafique said that we are trying to get those passengers who pay low price tickets. Saad also said that we decreased fare to purchase service. On other hand, Public rejected this awful fare tariff. The new limited time tariff can’t bring passengers, railway officers have to focus on timetable of trains, a citizen said. Nowadays, most people prefer Buses or private trains because of Pakistan Railway’s Incompetence policies, an anger Man responded on this new tariff.

We need to appreciate good steps instead of blaming them over good-action. But yes the Railways need to focus on the schedule and services as well.
